Send emoticos from iPhone to CakePHP [closed]

everybody.

I am developing an iPhone app that would send emoticons from iPhone to server-side.

But, what the server-side received everytime is null(or blank?).

So, how could I receive the right emoticons(or its escape character) in CakePHP?
