Does UIGestureRecognizer work on a UIWebView?
I am attempting to get a UIGestureRecognizer working with a UIWebview which is a subview of a UIScrollView. This sounds odd but when I have the numberOfTouchesRequired set to 2 the selector fires, but when numberOfTouchesRequired is set to one the selector doesn't fire.

List of known differences between "Safari on iPad” and "Safari on iPhone”
My website looks perfect on the iPhone but looks sub-optimal on the iPad. I'm having a lot of trouble finding information on the differences between iPad's webkit/safari rendering engine and iPhones' webkit/safari rendering engine.
Counterpart to -application:openURL:sourceApplication:annotation:
iOS SDK 4.2 includes a new UIApplicationDelegate method called application:openURL:sourceApplication:annotation: . It is a replacement for application:handleOpenURL: and offers more information about the calling application: not only do we get the bundle identifier of the calling app, but also, in the annotation argument,
XCode/Simulator: How to run older iOS version?
I'm thinking of upgrading to iOS SDK 4.2. But what I'm wondering is if I'll still be able to run the simulator as iOS 3.2. This is because I'm creating iAds for iPad but I still want to check if my program will run with iOS 3.2.

Why does mp4 video plays fine on iPad, not on iPhone?
I'm quite stumped on this issue.
I have a large library of H.264 mp4 video files that I need to have play on iOS. Originally, I was targeting only iPad, but requirements have changed and now I need to include iPhone. But I've noticed that my iPod Touch, which has exactly the same OS version and build id as my iPad, won't play the same files that I've been successfully using on the iPad. I've confirmed this with a colleague who also has an iPhone and iPad with the same version & build. I've also seen the exact same behavior in the iPad simulator, but until now I figured it was a quirk of the simulator. Now I'm not so sure.

Are either the IPad or IPhone capable of OpenCL?
With the push towards multimedia enabled mobile devices this seems like a logical way to boost performance on these platforms, while keeping general purpose software power efficient. I've been interested in the IPad hardware as a developement platform for UI and data display / entry usage. But am curious of how much processing capability the device itself is capable of. OpenCL would make it a JUICY hardware platform to develop on, even though the licensing seems like it kinda stinks.
CALayer autoresizing on iPhone/iPad: How?
I'm trying to create a UIView subclass ("GradientView") that will fill itself with a gradient of various colors. I've implemented it by adding a CAGradientLayer as a sub-layer of UIView's layer.

Which Flurry library should I use for universal iPhone/iPad apps?
Flurry has a separate analytics SDK for iPad apps vs iPhone apps. If I'm building a universal app to run on the iPhone 4.0+ and iPad 3.2+ (iPad native, not compatibility mode), does anyone know which SDK/lib I should use? And is there any reason I shouldn't use the same SDK/lib for apps running on iPhone 4+ only? (Basically, I'm confused as to why there are separate SDKs at all.)
How to print in iOS 4.2?
I want to integrate the print functionality in my app.

Get launch orientation of iPad app
In my iPad app, I need to run some layout code to set the proper layout depending on the orientation. By default, the layout is configured for the landscape orientation, so in the case that the app starts in portrait mode, I need to take extra action to configure the views properly for display in portrait.
Looking for a graph layout framework for iOS
For an iOS application I'm making I need to show groups of elements grouped together according to their type, and different groups of types separated from each other in a nicely done layout.

Program received signal: “0”. Data Formatters temporarily unavailable
I'm working on an iPad app that downloads a CSV file from the web and parses the file into a NSMutableArray. (I'm using the code from http://www.macresearch.org/cocoa-scientists-part-xxvi-parsing-csv-data suggested in another post).
